Before I ever worked in tech, I spent years in highly competitive environments where performance and preparation were everything.
At Michigan, I walked onto the football team and eventually became a two-time captain. I went on to play five seasons in the NFL. Those years shaped how I think about timing, positioning, and being intentional with every move.
When I transitioned into tech recruiting, I was drawn to the pace and ambition of the startup world. What stood out to me, though, was how transactional the industry often felt. There was a heavy emphasis on volume and speed, and not always enough focus on alignment or real advocacy.
During my playing career, I experienced what strong representation looks like. My agent understood my strengths, my value, my timing, and the environments where I would thrive. Every move was deliberate.
That is the perspective I brought into recruiting.
I operate more like a talent agent than a traditional recruiter. I spend time deeply understanding founders and technical leaders before ever making introductions. I want to understand what this hire truly unlocks for the business. On the other side, I work closely with builders to clarify what they are optimizing for and where they will do their best work.
I don't run volume funnels. I take on a small number of searches and work them with conviction on both sides.
The goal isn't movement. It's alignment that leads to meaningful, long-term impact.

A focused 10 to 15 minute call to understand who you are, what you're targeting, and what a great next role looks like for you. In many cases, I'm reaching out because I already have a specific opportunity in mind that I believe could align, and I'll walk you through that on this call.

I schedule your interviews, provide thorough role-specific prep, and debrief with you after each round (or when necessary). You'll always know where you stand and exactly what to expect next.
I collect the full compensation package, gather final hiring feedback, and negotiate on your behalf.
I provide resignation guidance, counter-offer support, and coordinate a start date that works for both sides. The process does not end at the signature.
I help you through onboarding, check in during your first week, and follow up at 30 days to make sure the role is everything it was supposed to be. Most recruiters disappear after placement. I'm always available β for anything.
